St Margaret's Men's

We have an active men"s group in the church, who meet regularly twice a month. We meet on the 1st Wednesday of the month 8pm at the Red Start Pub as a social gathering. Then on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, we meet 8pm at Church Cross House, for our men's home group, where we study the bible together and discuss topics related to our faith. Throughout the year we plan numerous other activities, which includes walking, weekends away and breakfasts. We have also gone curling, driven in a F1 simulator and gone wine tasting.

Prayer Team

The prayer team meet every Wednesday at 7pm, currently meeting on Zoom.

We also have a prayer chain so that we can quickly mobilise the team to pray as prayer requests come in.

We have a separate team, who head up our road prayer initiative. Each month we visit a different group of roads in the parish, calling on doors to collect prayer requests.

Please contact Fliss North & David Garland for more information.

Yellow Wellies

Churchyard Working Party - the ‘Yellow Wellies’ put in a huge amount of work keeping the churchyard in order throughout the year.

We meet on Mondays when the weather is not against us, at 09:30am for a couple of hours of mowing and tidying up. If you would be able to devote an hour of two on Mondays, especially during the summer to giving a hand you will be welcome. We have mowers and a strimmer, but please bring along anything else that may help, particularly any protective clothing you have.
